Timberlight Retreat | Tiny Home Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this tiny cabin and found the cabin itself to be clean, comfortable, and a unique place to spend a couple of nights during our trip through Maine. It was peaceful, private, and a nice opportunity to experience a quieter side of the state. The location was more isolated than we anticipated. Winterport and the immediate surrounding area didn’t offer as much to see or do as we had expected, and restaurants, shopping, and attractions required quite a bit of driving. I would definitely recommend that future guests arrive with groceries, drinks, and anything else they might need and plan their activities ahead of time. That being said, the isolation could be a huge positive for guests specifically looking to unplug, relax, and get away from busy tourist areas. The cabin itself provided a comfortable home base, and we appreciated the peaceful setting and the unique experience. The tiny home is adorable and set up for privacy from the neighboring properties. It looked exactly like the pictures and the sheets and bed were super soft and comfy! If you purchase fire wood they also provide a fire starter, which makes starting your fire nice and easy. The hot tub is very clean! Philip and his co-hosts were very easy to communicate with, quick to respond, helpful, and always friendly. Highly recommend!
